Things to Do
While You're Here
Charleston rewards an extra day or two. A few favorites:
Historic Downtown
Cobblestone streets, the Battery, Rainbow Row, and Charleston City Market — walkable and worth a slow morning.
The Beaches
Wide, calm sand at Kiawah and Seabrook nearby; lively Folly Beach a short hop the other way.
Lowcountry Food
Shrimp and grits, fresh oysters, and she-crab soup — Charleston is one of the country's great food cities.
